out of earth’s sorrows, and into Thy balm ..
out of life’s storms, and into Thy calm ..
out of distress into jubilant psalm ..
Jesus, I come to Thee.

out of myself to dwell in Thy love ..
out of despair into raptures above ..
upward for aye on wings like a dove ..
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Oh, heh ..

It's been SO LONG!!! I've been on hiatus for a bit, with winter break, Mexico, Christmas, birthday (21, woop woop!), New Years and all ... but I am back - and with fantastic news to kick off the year!! Roommate AM and my dearest McKenzie are engaged!! Congratulations to the two birds and the lucky gentlemen that get to call them 'honey' from here on out!

Sadly, I wasn't able to check off every item on the 2010 to-do List, but I do have a number of new goals and the like to accomplish by the end of this year .. for example, getting a camera. These are some parasailing pictures and such from my recent Mexico trip. Enjoy them, and pretend they were taken with a super fancy DSLR ... with a wide angle lens ... and fisheye effects ... a panoramic setting ... you know. :) Happy 2011!

Thank you, thank you! I went to Cabo san Lucas over winter break and took these with a waterproof camera :P Isn't disposable film great? Naturally grainy, soft, fuzzy .. I like how warm and happy these looked. Glad you enjoyed this, thanks for stopping by :)

Rachel, as much as you complain about not having a "real" camera, the photos you take with disposable ones are fantastic. I had sworn them off after taking such terrible pictures with them back in the day. Now I can see the sort of nostalgia they create. They will most CERTAINLY be a mainstay at our wedding. :)
